UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez, will no doubt be one of the biggest UFC cards of the year, with a stacked card full of big names. Whenever the huge heavyweight, Lesnar steps in the cage, you know it’s a sold-out arena. The UFC will be promoting the fight with the now classic “UFC Primetime” series. An in-depth, three part countdown series to the fight.
The UFC 121 Primetime will start Wednesday Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. ET, and will air the same times, the following Wednesdays (Oct. 13, 20).
In the series we will get to see an in-depth look in the camp of undefeated Cain Velasquez as he trains at the American Kickboxing Academy, side-by-side with some of the best in the sport. Lesnar will be featured in his Minnesota camp, as he prepares to stop Velasquez’s perfect record.
Expect also a look in the camp of Martin Kampmann and UFC newcomer Jake Shields. Also featured will be former light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz vs. Matt “The Hammer” Hamill.
Notably, during the last primetime, “UFC Primetime: Rampage vs. Evans” the series set a ratings record for the show with 1.2 million viewers. Will Lesnar’s star power shatter that record?
