Nate Diaz puts out the boxer, Marcus Davis

Nate Diaz (13-5) pulls off his second win in a row at welterweight against the tough former boxer, Marcus Davis (17-6). The two showed their intentions of banging throughout all three rounds, Diaz opening up a nasty cut above Davis’s eye early. Surprisingly Diaz was able to use his longer reach to out-punch the boxer through out the fight. In the third Diaz was able to pull off the Anaconda choke to finish the fight, with Davis refusing to tap, he goes to sleep.

Diaz stated before, he showed no respect for Davis’s boxing abilities. As the fight went to the ground, the more experienced Nate Diaz used his superior grappling to finish the fight.

Diaz went on to say in his victory speech that he wants to go back to lightweight and rematch his last loss against Gray Maynard.
