Miguel Torres takes out the brawling, Antonio Banuelos in his UFC debut at UFC 126 via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Torres used his huge reach advantage to bludgeon his opponent with sharp, snapped jabs throughout the three rounds. Torres reports during his victory speech that he did not want to get in a brawl the heavy hands of Banuelos and attacked from the outside.
Migeul Torres currently hold an impressive 39-3 record, 23 of which came via submission. Torres also notably a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black-belt. Torres was last seen taking down Charlie Valencia at WEC 51, prior to the promotion merger with the UFC. The bantemweight currently training out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada under Tristar Gym.
