Medical Suspensions from UFC 108

The NSAC [Nevada State Athletic Commission] gave medical suspensions to seven fighters after this Saturday’s event UFC 108.

Most of the suspensions were 30 days or less, but Dustin Hazlett and Mark Munoz may be out until July, for both potential and confirmed fractures they suffered during the fight.

Hazlett’s fracture was thought to have occurred after his brutal KO by Paul Daley. Even though Munoz won his bout, he was still given the same lengthy suspension.

Other medical suspensions included:

-Sam Stout: Suspended until Feb. 2 with no contact until Jan. 23 due to left forehead laceration

-Gilbert Yvel: Suspended until Feb. 2 with no contact until Jan. 23 for precautionary reasons

-Jacob Volkmann: Suspended until Feb. 2 with no contact until Jan. 23 for precautionary reasons

-Ryan Jensen: Suspended until Jan. 23 with no contact until Jan. 16 for precautionary reasons

-Mike Pyle: Suspended until Feb. 2 with no contact until Jan. 23 for precautionary reasons
