St-Pierre returns as champ with bloody win over Condit at UFC 154
The UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre (23-2) is back as he reclaims his dominance in the division with a win over former interim champ Carlos Condit (29-6) at UFC 154 in front of his home country.
It was a war that showcased the superior grappling of the champ, as he rained down elbows, opening up Condit in the first. It was not all one sided as Condit had St-Pierre in trouble after a head kick dropped him in the third round. Unfortunate for Condit, GSP was able to survive and return to dominating with the top game.

Following almost a two-year layoff due to a torn ACL, St-Pierre proved that he still has the tools to be one of the world’s best MMA fighters. The champ makes his 10th straight title defense, aligning all ‘stars’ to put on a “super-fight” against middleweight Anderson Silva in May as UFC president Dana White had hoped for.

That was awesome! You forget how good GSP is after not seeing him for so long. He has that intensity, and the ability to take the heart out of his opponent. If Carlos hadn’t gotten that kick in the 3rd round, it would have been far worse for him. He put on a great show though. So glad for GSP!
GSP is a boring mo fuca. kudos to Carlos for actually fighting. can anyone remember the last time GSP finished someone? pobrecito when Silva gets him. oh wait, it wont happen cause hes going to get injured before fight day……smfh
