According to a report by MMAFighting.com, Vitor Belfort has passed three random drug tests leading up to his UFC middleweight title fight vs. Chris Weidman.
Nevada Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett told the site that they have tested Belfort three times, and more random testing will continue. The two meet February 28 in Los Angeles at UFC 184.
“Both him and his wife have been extremely cooperative, polite, professional and friendly throughout this process,” Bennett said. “They have been consummate pros to date.”
Belfort was given his conditional fight license by the NAC, but required to subject himself to random testing after admitting to the use of TRT, which has since been banned by both the UFC and the commission.
