It seems Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is currently going through some issues and one of them involves being unhappy with his Zuffa employers. Last night the former UFC light heavyweight champ took to twitter to vent on his issues.
I feel sorry for my next opponent, no matter who or what it is,” Jackson typed via Twitter. “I will fight whoever they put in front of me – I always have – but it will be my last fight in the UFC.”
Following Quinton’s last bout where he suffered a decision loss to Ryan Bader in front of a Japanese crowd, Rampage cited a knee injury that prevented him from training cardio which resulted in him missing weight by six pounds.
Perhaps it was the salary cut due to missing weight but the dispute with the UFC seems to be involving the payout.
I have other things on my mind,” Jackson stated. “I didn’t say I would be done fighting; I just said I’m not fighting for the UFC (u fight cheap).”
Since the angered tweets last night, Jackson has admitted he was dealing with some serious issues, including missing his family and thanks the fans for their continued support.
