If you are a betting man, I can provide you with some educated opinions on the fight. Of course we hold no responsibility for gambling losses, so take advice at your own risk!
With that said, lets jump into the UFC 110 Predictions from Joe Rocha.
Minotauro Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez
Prediction: Cain Velasquez, Round Three (TKO – Punches)
Nogueira may be a legend in the sport with BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) pedigree that cannot be matched in the heavyweight division, but Velasquez is hungry.. His 8-0 (5-0 UFC) record over big names in the UFC, shows his quick progression in the sport under the masterful teachings of Javier Mendez.
Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping
Prediction: Wanderlei Silva, Round Two (TKO – Punches)
As if there was not enough striker vs. striker matches on the bill. This will be another amazing slug-fest. Silva is going in as the underdog with his UFC 1-5 record as of late, but I say these were against legends in the sport and Bisping is yet to prove to me that he is capable of taking out a legend. Lookout for the return of Wanderlei from Pride.
Joe Stevenson vs. George Sotiropoulos
Prediction: Joe Stevenson, Decision
This is a hard one to call, but I have to give the upper-hand to experience. Both these men are great in their Jiu-Jitsu styles, which I feel will negate the ground game. It will become a strikers game, in which Stevenson will have the upper-hand, pun intended.
Keith Jardine vs. Ryan Bader
Prediction: Ryan Bader Round One (TKO, Punches)
The Dean of Mean, Keith Jardine is no slouch by any standards with wins over big names like Griffin and Liddel. The problem is that Bader, much like Velasquez is on a rampage through the UFC with an undefeated 10-0 record. Bader may not be well rounded YET, but his wrestling, and striking style is perfect for him to get a win over Jardine by ground and pound.
Mirko Cro Cop vs. Ben Rothwell
Prediction: Mirko Cro Cop Round three (KO, Head Kick)
Much like Wanderlei, due to current losses, these legends skills are being forgotten. They both may be winding down in there career, but Randy Couture is proof that a comeback run for the belt is possible, all the way into your 40′s. Cro Cop will use his insane Mule kicks to put Rothwell down.
