Exclusive: Eddie Bravo gives his UFC 134 Rio PredictionsAugust 26, 2011 by Savannah Labate

If MMA had a promotion that started with fighters on their knees, Eddie Bravo (0-0-1 MMA) believes he would be a dominating factor for the right kind of money, and we agree. Bravo, a long time innovator of jiu-jitsu in MMA with his no-gi approach is an icon in the sport to say the least.  Needless to say, when the 2nd degree jiu-jitsu black belt  gave us his UFC 134 Rio’s main card predictions we were taking notes.

Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami II Predictions:
“Yushin Okami definitely has a chance to win a decision,” said Bravo to CagedInsider.com.” “He has the possibility of grinding out a decision. Sonnen almost did it, but my money’s on Anderson.”

Forrest Griffin vs. Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua II:
“That’s too close to call. That’s a tough one. Forrest Griffin’s tough as nails. He’s got pretty good hands. He’s got good footwork. His jiu-jitsu’s decent. Shoguns an animal, and it’s going to be in Brazil. That’s a tough one to call, but if I had to call it, I’d go with Shogun by homecourt advantage.

Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub:
“That’s going to be a hard fight for Nogueira. Even though he’s got the home court advantage, Brendan Schaub’s young, and aggressive. He’s on a roll, and he”s tough as hell. Nogueira is kind of at the end of his career you might say. “
