Anybody who's educated about MMA will understand that the main goal isn't to simply hurt your opponent. If that was the case, there'd no rules whatsoever. Groin shots hurt like hell, (obviously) but they're not allowed in MMA, head butts hurt, but they're not allowed, strikes to the throat and spine hurt and can cause paralysis or death, but they're not allowed. As far as the violence in MMA, it's still safe. Some movies are violent, but they're still safe. Instead of being biased Bob Reilly and whoever else is in charge of the decision to legalize or ban MMA need to educate themselves on the sport, before criticizing it.
