Dana White says they’re currently working on signing OvereemAugust 26, 2011 by Joe Rocha

It looks like we may see the highly entertaining Holland knockout artist in the UFC soon after all. UFC President Dana White says he is in talks with Alistair Overeem currently. Originally White said he would not do business with Overeem’s management as he cited shady business practices by Golden Glory management, by forcing promoters to pay them directly. Looks like the Management and Zuffa have since got past the sticking points.

“We’re talking to Overeem. When everything fell apart, you guys heard me come out and say, ‘We can’t do business with these guys the way these guys want to do business,’ meaning his management. Well they’ve changed their opinions on how they can do business with us, so now we can.”
