In light of this weekend’s debut of Ronda Rousey there has been a lot of talk about the biggest debuts of all time. Many fighters come in with a ton of hype, and they either sink or swim. Some fighters, like Dan Henderson and Wanderlei Silva, will not be included since they debuted with the UFC before they transferred over from PRIDE. So lets count down the biggest UFC debuts of all time in terms of the hype for the fighter.
#10 Jake Shields
Shields was the original Strikeforce transfer, because after his performance against Henderson the UFC had to have him. He did win the fight, but did not add very many fans in the process.
