In an alternate universe, lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos never broke his foot in training, and he and featherweight champ Conor McGregor fought at UFC 196 and – regardless of who won or lost – both men made tons and tons of money.
But alas, we don’t live in that universe, we live in the one where McGregor fought Nate Diaz instead. And because McGregor vs. Diaz just about set the record for pay-per-view buys, we’re going to see them go at it again at UFC 200 – which will surely make them, and the UFC, tons more money.
Unfortunately, that leaves Dos Anjos out in the cold, and that makes him sad and bitter. Don’t believe me? Then check out what he tweeted:
feel bad for Aldo and Edgar, after ufc200 Conor ll find another fight in a different division,so he can keep his belt for lil longer #coward

Somehow I don’t see McGregor as exhibiting the traits of a coward by taking an immediate rematch AT WELTERWEIGHT against the guy who just kicked his ass. That may be foolhardy, but it sure isn’t cowardice.
