UFC on FX 2 in Sydney, Australia has proved to shape up nicely. The UFC has set Thiago Alves (19-8 MMA, 11-5 UFC) vs Martin Kampmann (18-5 MMA, 9-4 UFC) officially for March 3rd.

The “Pitbull,” Alves will be looking to start a new winstreak after defeating formerly undefeated Papy Abedi via rear-naked choke at UFC 138. Prior to the victory Alves lost a tough unanimous decision loss to rising star Rick Story.

Kampmann will also be looking to get his second straight victory in the octagon after stopping the same up-and-comer, Story whom decision-ed Alves prior.

The fight card will also feature the debut of the 125 lb. flyweight division with a four-man tourney including Demetrious Johnson vs Ian McCall, and Joseph Benavidez vs Yasuhiro Urushitani.
