Goiania, Goias, Brazil– The Octagon crashes in South America for the twelfth time for UFC Fight Night 32: Henderson vs Belfort 2, a rematch of a showdown from PRIDE 32 in 2006, when Dan Henderson takes on Vitor Belfort for a second time on the Brazilian’s turf.

– Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson:
Round One: They touch gloves and Belfort circles around while Henderson walks him down slowly. Both fighters haven’t thrown a punch and we’re almost a minute in. Henderson moves in and Belfort lands an uppercut that plants him on the ground. Belfort goes for the finishing shots and Henderson gets back to his feet. A high kick from Belfort flattens Hendo and referee Dan Mirgliotta saves him from further punishment
Belfort wins via knockout (head kick) @ 1:17 of round one
Main Card (Fox Sports 1)
– Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian:
Round One: Sarafian walking Mutante down here and grabs the clinch against the cage and he’s working hard for the takedown. The ref splits them up and Sarafian lans a hard right hand followed by a left hook. Mutante going for the takedown now and Sarafian has his arm under the neck. He drops down to finish it and Mutante isn’t in any danger at all and makes his way back to his feet. Head kick from Mutante misses and he throws a spin kick that’s off. Mutante now has Sarafian on the fence and pushes off and backs away. Straight left from Mutante and a head kick after. Sarafian is staying in his face and lands a couple but slips in the process. They exchange some more before the round ends
Round Two: Mutante tries another spin kick that backs Sarafian into the fence and Sarafian circles off. Mutante gets the takedown and starts working from Sarafian’s guard. Sarafian is avoiding damaging blows and Mutante starts working for a head and arm choke, but he’s trapped in the full guard of Sarafian. Mutante postures up to land some ground and pound and Sarafian stand up. Big right hand from Sarafian stuns Mutante and another one wobbles him. Mutante lans another takedown and lands in halfguard. Sarafian tries to sit out and Mutante almost has an arm triangle before Mario Yamasaki stands them up. He must have money on Sarafian. Both fighters bleeding from their faces now and the round comes to a close with Sarafian pressing Mutante up against the cage.
Round Three: Sarafian comes out pushing the pace and lands a nice right hand. Mutante circles out and Sarafian lands another punch as they break. Mutante gets enough room to land a takedown and he’s looking to pass. He chooses not to and starts working short punches from the half guard. Sarafian almost gets free, but Mutante is holding him down and landing short punches to the body. Yamasaki has seen enough and forces them to stand up, and it doesn’t matter because Mutante goes right back to the takedown and gets both hooks in and up against the cage. Sarafian stands up with Mutante hanging from his back. Mutante starts digging for the choke but he doesn’t have enough strength left to pull it off
Mutante Ferreira wins via split decision
– Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac:
Round One: Pokrajac comes out storming and lands a left hand. Cavalcante fires back and gets trapped up against the fence and Cavalcante fires off some knees in close that have Pokrajac wilting. More shots come from Cavalcante and the follow up punches force the stoppage

– Paulo Thiago vs. Brandon Thatch:
Round One: Thatch comes out southpaw and kicking and Thiago hesitates with a couple punches. More kicks coming from Thatch and Thiago takes him down briefly before Thatch powers his way up. Thiago holding onto the body lock and Thatch breaks away and starts landing punches and knees. Big left over the top from Thatch and a punch behind it. They’re in the clinch here and a knee to the gut floors Thiago and the ground and pound seals the deal for the American

– Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Ryan LaFlare:
Round One: LaFlare comes out southpaw and Santiago lands on over the top. LaFlare with a front kick and a low one behind it. LaFlare gets the takedown and starts working for an arm triangle choke, but he settles for full mount. Santiago gets full guard and LaFlare lands a punch from top and stands up to land a bomb that misses. LaFlare now has Santiago against the fence and he’s working another arm triangle. LaFlare with a knee on Santiago’s belly and works an armlock that Santiago escapes from and works to take the back. LaFlare scrambles out and gets top position on Santiago. They return to their feet and a leg kick from Santiago is caught by LaFlare and he gets the takedown. Santiago gets back to his feet shortly after and there’s 20 seconds left in the round. LaFlare fires off another front kick and Santiago answers with a head kick before the bell sounds.
Round Two: LaFlare opens up with a couple kicks low and to the body. Santiago tries a backfist and LaFlare throws a high kick. LaFlare drops down and gets the takedown He moves to the back and Santiago makes his way to the cage and finds his way to his feet. Left right from LaFlare and a right from Santiago. LaFlare with a body kick and a head kick follows. LaFlare lands a one two punch and Santiago uses a punch kick before moving in with a right hand and a left hook. Santiago lands a punch and LaFlare looks like he’s on skates. Santiago chasing him down and LaFlare fires off a left that lands. Santiago continues the attack, but he slows it down long enough for LaFlare to time a takedown. Side control for LaFlare and he’s working to advance to mount. LaFlare finishes the round landing short punches to the body while keeping Santiago flat on his back
Round Three: LaFlare times a spinning attack from Santiago and get another takedown and starts working where he left off at the end of the second round. Santiago rolls and gets his back to the cage and works his way free. LaFlare with a right hand left hook and a knee drops Santiago. LaFlare jumps on him and Santiago survives. LaFlare lands a few more and Santiago breaks free to drop LaFlare! LaFlare gets the sweep and starts working from side control before the final round ends
LaFlare wins via unanimous decision
– Rony Jason vs. Jeremy Stephens:
Round One: They touch up and Jason starts circling out and closes the gap with a punch. Stephens stays tight and lands a huge kick to the head of the Brazilian and he’s down! A right hand follows and this one ends just as fast as it started.
