Reigning UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre tells Sportsnet.ca that the former Strikeforce middleweight champion, Jake Shields will be his biggest challenge to date. And to add on the pressure it will take place at UFC 129 in his backyard of Toronto, Canada. St-Pierre has also expressed that he has been plagued with flashes of his TKO loss to Matt Serra in the build up to his fight.
“With Jake Shields, I’m very nervous for this fight. I have goosebumps, more than ever before. I have the flash of what happened with Matt Serra (at UFC 69) and I don’t want it to happen again. I’m fighting the most dangerous guy I have ever fought and it’s going to be a very tough fight.”
