Last nights return of UFC Primetime was just as great as past showings. To see the heart and dedication that goes into the athletes training is inspiring to say the least. Cain Velasquez truly is the champ for a reason. Training and sparring with former Olympian wrestler and fellow top heavyweight Daniel Cormier will sharpen any metal. We get a glimpse of the wars AKA has weekly in the gym in the first episode of the three part series. we also see a heart touching story of a young boy that gets a visit from the two AKA champs.
As if Junior dos Santos had any need to be pushed further, he continues to carry his nation of Brazil on his back. Following his loss of the title, he learned from his doctors that he had pushed his body too far in training. That mistake will not happen again. JDS has since started a regiment of blood tests, followed by medical monitoring during his training. With science now on his side, the Dos Santos camp is confident that he will bring the title back to Brazil.
