Jose Aldo lasted only 13 seconds against Conor McGregor, and totally wimped out when offered a rematch as a late-replacement when lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos bowed out due to injury. But of course that’s not going to stop Aldo from talking nonsense in regards to McGregor’s performance against Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
As per MMAFighting:
“You will come back (to the featherweight division) with your tail between your legs after what happened, after that embarrassment,” Aldo told Esporte Espetacular. “You will come back. My hand almost caught you, but when it does for good, you will sleep.”
“He’s a lion when he’s attacking, but a kitten when he’s getting beat up,” Aldo said. “Everybody saw in his eyes that he’s just a p—- that quits when he’s getting beat up. That’s what we saw.”
Never mind that McGregor had the balls to do something Aldo would never dare do, which is take a fight two weight classes above. Aldo still thinks he has room to talk trash.
He doesn’t. He absolutely doesn’t.
