Flyweight title fight set for UFC 152

Not much is certain now and days in the fight world. Between injuries, lost title shots, and false fighter signing you never know what will happen next. What is known, is that after UFC 152 which takes place in Toronto, Canada on September 22nd there will be a new champion in the UFC. The new Flyweight champion will be crowned after a match between Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez which ends the Flyweight tournament.

Both fighters were top fighters at bantamweight, but now at flyweight they truly are the best in the world. Joseph made his way to the final with a knockout win over Yasuhiro Urushitani back in March. Johnson had a rougher road having to take on Ian McCall twice before moving forward. The first time a judges error lead to a draw which called for a rematch.

The UFC 152 card also has the new co-main event of Michael Bisping vs Brian Stann. A match between the returning BJ Penn and Rory MacDonald had already been announced. Hopefully everyone stays healthy as this card is shaping up to be one of the better cards of the year.
