The undefeated Bellator fighter Travis Browne (9-0) has been signed to a multi-fight contract with the UFC. Browne’s first fight is expected to be against TUF 10 veteran James Mcsweeney (4-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
Currently the UFC is working towards the fight taking place on the UFC 115 card on June 12 at GM place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. If not then the next choice would be The Ultimate Fighter 11 finale being held one week later in the UFC’s home of LasVegas.
Browne is known for his impressive hands,(T)KO 7 of his 9 wins. Of recent Browne has a notable KO over TUF 10 veteran Abe Wagner, getting the KO in the first eight seconds of the fight round. Currently Brown trains at the Alliance Training Center aside UFC veterans Brandon Vera, Joey Beltran, and WEC Bantemweight contender Dominick Cruz.
McSweeney is coming off a big victory over fellow TUF 10 castmember Darrel Schoonover at the TUF 10 finale. McSweeney has been training with the infamous Jackson Camp, sparring with UFC top contenders like Rashad Evans, and Keieth Jardine.
