Rashad is a phenom. He has a black belt in bjj and is a D1 wrestling champ. He can strike with anyone. I am not surprised he has a black belt in bjj since he trains wih GSP and Rolles Gracie and top names in the entire world. He has been training for many years. Top bjj guys have faced him and not managed to submit him because he uses his black belt bjj skills to fend off from being submitted.

I’ve been training jiu jitsu since 1998, and only NOW I’ve got my Black Belt.I earned my belt after MORE THAN A DECADE training hardly, every day!!!This man DON’T DESERVE this Black Belt!He didn’t even use a GI to submit someone inside the dojo to deserve this belt.Royce, Royler and Rickson Grace didn’t like this kind of Rolles’ act!TO EARN A BLACK BELT, INSIDE JIU JITSU YOU NEED TO DESERVE THIS,USING THE GI AND FIGHTING INSIDE THE MAT.Rashad Evans is a CLOWN,LOSER, SHAME for US, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu’s community.I CAN tell this, because I FOUGHT FOR 12 YEARS TO DESERVE MY BLACK BELT,I FOUGHT IN THE MAT AND USED GI SO LONG,not earned for a single night!I wanna see Rashad Evans using his fake Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu tournaments!I would like to fight with him and see how good he is to deserve this Belt!!You’re a CLOWN R.E!

Congrats on that belt kakashi, its no easy feat as I am sure you can attest to. It does seem undeserved for Rashad who has no submission finishes in the UFC to all the sudden have a BB in BJJ and from a Gracie no doubt. The whole MMA community is just up in arms about it…

First of All, there are people it takes them 20 years to get a Jiu Jitsu black belt, does that mean your belt is any less then theirs because you did it in 12? second of all, Mixed martial arts trains Jiu Jitsu, muay thai, wrestling and boxing and who knows what else.. it’s their job.. was it your job to train Jiu Jitsu or did you go on your spare time? a professional fighter isn’t a normal fighter.. it is their job to learn, train, eat and sleep.. that is it.. their job is fighting 24 / 7.. so I’m sure it will speed up the process.. now, for people saying that he’s not a real black belt for not submitting someone in the octagon.. that is just simply ignorance.. rampage jackson even knows jiu jitsu.. but do you see him trying to submit people? when they go perform, it’s about what can they do to their opponent to end the fight quickly, rashad will always be a natural heavy handed , fast striker.. can he submit forrest.. perhaps.. but he could knock him senseless.. can he submit chuck.. maybe.. but he can knock him senseless.. can he submit from top mount.. maybe.. but he can knock them sensless.. because the other person is looking for the submission.. now if he was caught up like rampage was with jon jones on the ground.. you don’t think he would try to defend using his jiu jistu knowledge? come on people.. lets not hate on things we don’t even understand.
