Pressure is on fighters at all times, and even more so when they are going into one of the biggest fights of their career. This was no different for Rampage Jackson, but he had the added pressure of being a star in the upcoming A-Team movie as well.
At the post-fight press conference, Rampage stated that he felt the movie may have contributed to his loss against Rashad Evans, and that he regrets leaving the UFC in order to film the movie.
“I never had any pressure like this my whole fighting career. I focused really hard, and I trained really hard on this fight, but me having this damn movie. I kind of almost regret doing the damn movie and stuff now,” Jackson said.
On top of all that, the movie company for which Rampage works for threatened a lawsuit against the fighter when they discovered he would be fighting at the event on Saturday.
