With over a year off following his split-decision win over Tito Ortiz, Forrest Griffin is not feeling as confident as he would like for his upcoming battle with former champion, Rich Franklin. Griffin spoke honestly to ESPN recently that the large one year layoff has been irking him as of late.
“A good break now and then is great for your body, but it was too long. This is the most ring rust I’ve ever had. I’m not excited about it… Being off for the year, that’s huge. It’s a weird feeling. I’m a little more nervous than usual.”
