Well it looks as if the UFC Fan Expo has moved across the pond. After last July’s first ever fan expo, European fans have been badgering Dana White for a weekend of their own. It looks as if their persistence has paid off.
The UFC in conjunction with Reed Exhibitions has announced the first international UFC Fan Expo is be held at Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London, England. The action-packed weekend will begin on Friday, October 15th and will go on to the following day. And if October 16th sounds slightly familiar, that because UFC 120 will be airing in London that night as well.
“I am excited to bring a UFC Fan Expo to our incredible fans in Europe,” said White. “People have been asking me about an International Expo ever since we held our first one at UFC 100, and now they have it – they’re getting two days of the best fan experience in all of sports, and on top of that an incredible fight card featuring Michael Bisping vs. Akiyama.”
The massive expo is expected to bring in over 100 top vendors and will cover around 200,000 gross square meters. Along with autograph sessions and training seminars, apparel, gaming, fight gear, along with many other things will be offered.
