Let’s face it: Dana White and the UFC own Conor McGregor. So any overt talk about a superfight between McGregor and boxing star Floyd Mayweather is just talk unless White and the UFC can get their cut of the loot. This is life under the rule of contract law, it’s best if we all just accept it.
To help us accept it, White went on record this weekend saying that McGregor’s next fight will likely be in the Octagon, against the winner of Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Damn, that cold water feels cold.
