41 year-old former Pride and Strikeforce champ, Dan “Hendo” Henderson (29-8 MMA, 5-2 UFC) has been more critical in his fight choices, following an all out brawl victory over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. The win looked to put Hendo in-line for a possible title shot against champ Jon Jones.
Dan Henderson’s in a position right now where it looks like he wants to wait for Jon Jones,” said White to the media.”
Henderson has previously denied a rematch against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC on FUEL 2 to keep himself free for the title shot, should Rashad Evans not have won his bout against Phil Davis. That proved to not be the case, and now Henderson will look to wait to challenge the winner Jones vs Evans on April 21 in Atlanta.
