Germaine de Randamie may have defeated Holly Holm to earn the UFC inaugural 145-belt, but everyone knows the Dutchwoman is merely holding that shiny chunk of metal for someone else – someone far more skilled and far more dangerous.
And that someone – the one and only Cris Cyborg – is coming for it.
Last week Cyborg was pronounced free and clear of the USADA charges that held her in suspension limbo, and yesterday, on Ariel Helwani’s “The MMA Hour“, she talked about how all the haters she has only fuels her.
“Obviously I’m going to have haters. Man, I got to say I love my haters because they challenge myself…it challenges me. It challenges me to be better. It challenges me to show who I am, and that I deserve to be who I am.”
