Cormier to Jones: “Where I’m from you don’t tell a man to shut up”
Jon “Bones” Jones is never one to lack in confidence. As opponents look to challenge the champ for his title, like Anderson Silva, Jones has voiced his opinion on who he felt is worthy. As to who isn’t worthy of a title shot? Strikeforce champ Daniel Cormier is not enough of a name according to the champ. This did not sit well with the ‘fired up’ Strikeforce Grand Prix winner Daniel Cormier. Here’s what he had to say during the UFC 156 post-fight show.
“Jon Jones, you’re firing me up,” said Cormier when asked to address the matter during last night’s Fuel TV coverage of UFC 156. “Where I’m from, you don’t tell a man to shut up. That’s one thing you don’t do. Jon Jones, you and I will get it done.”
Both men currently have scheduled opponents as Daniel Cormier is set to face Frank Mir at UFC on Fox on April 20, and Jones will look to defend his title from Chael Sonnen on April 27 in Newark, NJ.

Strikeforce champ are jokes, every time they come to the UFC they end up getting there ass kick, strikeforce was made up of fighter that got can from the ufc.

Cormier has too be in close if he wants a chance to fight… In the outside i say jones gots it.. even in tight quarters i feel jon has more tools. Only way cormier will win is if he gets jon down… But what if jons bjj is good but we havnt seen it. Jones hasnt been on his back for long and he has those long arms and legs. Advantage goes to jones.. But if cormier can land big i think cormier gots it. But big lean towards jon jones on my side tho….
Cormier isn’t in Jon’s league and that’s coming from somebody who really doesn’t like Jon Jones. Just wait and see (:

bah, I could care less… But I’d say Jones takes it for the hell of it. In my opinion Cormier is highly over rated, an I think the competition in the UFC will expose that. Atleast if he stays at heavy weight an there are no botched decisions or staged fights haha
seem differnt weight class like talk smack other weight class and they know the fight will never happen if one drop or gain weight

Jon Jones will win if this fight is fought at 205! Cormier has been fighting punks. Jones has beat the last four light heavy weight champs in dominating fashion for the guys saying Jones has fought nobody.
