CM Punk, Joe Rogan Agree On UFC 170 Stoppage

There’s been some talk around the MMA water cooler that CM Punk, a former WWE champion, could be interested in joining the sport.

Saturday night, Punk was caught Octagon-side next to UFC president Dana White at UFC 170.

Following the main event, which saw Ronda Rousey successfully defend her bantamweight title via first round TKO over Sara McMann, Punk exchanged a few words with Joe Rogan. During the minutes left after the pay-per-view ended early, Rogan relayed the exchange.

“I looked down at CM Punk, who was sitting cageside, and he looked at me and said, ‘Good stoppage,'” Rogan said. “And I agree. Good stoppage.”

Rousey caught McMann with a third liver shot, the final one flooring the former Olympic wrestling silver medalist. Referee Herb Dean stepped in after McMann attempted to cover up, keeping her from being hit any further by Rousey.
