Carwin suffers knee injury, still in for Nelson bout

Injuries have been plaguing UFC fighters for the past couple of months, and unfortunately for Ultimate Fighter 16 coach Shane Carwin, a minor knee injury has afflicted him as well.

The injury will however not prevent him from fighting in his bout against fellow TUF 16 coach Roy Nelson at the December 15th event finale.

Sadly for UK fans, Carwin was forced to cancel his trip to England for a signing, and announced the bad news via Twitter.

ATTN UK Fans: I hurt my knee training and I will not be able to make the signing with the amazing people @FearlessUK

Jason Genet, Carwin’s coach revealed that Carwin had injured his knee during wrestling practice, but suffered no major damage.
