Former WWE Star, and now Strikeforce star Bobby Lashley (5-0) is rumored to be added to the highly anticipated Strikeforce: Nashville card. Sources close to MMAJunkie (MMAJunkie.com) have said that Lashley will be the fourth preliminary bout of the night.
Previously Scott Croker had told MMAJunkie that a fourth fight could be shown via delay on the CBS Broadcasting that night. Inside sources claim this slot will be where Lashley will be squeezed in. No opponents have been announced (or speculated) as of yet, but we will keep you updated as the news rolls in.
Lashley accomplishments are very impressive as he is a NAIA national wrestling champion who also competed for the U.S. Army. Lashley is 1-0 in the Strikeforce organization, making quick work of former UFC fighter Wes Sims via TKO (strikes). Prior to that Lashley had impressive wins in smaller promotions over the likes of Jason Guida, Mike Cook, and Bob Sapp.
