Antonio “Lil Nog” Nogueira continues to win, as he comes off a layoff to defeat former light heavyweight champ Rashad Evans. It wasn’t the most exciting three round fight as both men looked to counter. Technical, and yet flawed. Both men did not showcase any of their best abilities, but Nog did what was needed to get the judges nods.

Throughout the fight, Evans continually attempted to catch the jabs of Nogueira, leaving himself open to feints, setting up power shots for Lil Nog.

Prior to the win, Nogueira was seen taking out Tito Ortiz in Dec. of 2011. Since then, the former boxer had dealt with injuries, keeping him out of the cage for over a year as the landscape quickly evolved.
