Surprised? The Las Vegas Distric Attorney’s office has officially decided to not pursue the assault charges against Arianny Celeste (real name Arianny Lopez) and her ex, Praveen Chandra for domestic violence.
According to D.A. executive, Tess Driver, there was insufficient evidence to pursue the case which has led to the full dismissal of all charges.
The accusations were originally filed by now ex-boyfriend, Chandra, whom was also arrested following the alleged assault on May 26 for the same charges. Celeste later came out to the press saying that she had only assaulted Chandra out of self defense from choking.
Following the publicized arrest, UFC president Dana White was quick to take Celeste’s defense in the matter.
“She has been with us for over five years. She is a good girl and an amazing ambassador for the UFC. I don’t know all the details of what happened, but we have her back and support her 100 percent.”
Celeste widely known for not only her work in the UFC, but also her modeling career in large publications such as FHM, Maxim, and her now infamous nude photos in Playboy.
