I've been covering the sport of mixed martial arts professionally for two years now. I would say I've been drawn to the action ever since I first saw Chuck Liddell vs. Randy Couture in 2006. Since then I have taken up training as well. Lately you can find me at Erik Paulson's CSW training in Brea, CA and Lucas Leites jiu-jitsu in La Habra, CA. I'm a Former United States Army Soldier, with two tours under my belt. Studied Journalism at Riverside College. Live in Norco, California. Originally from Miami, Florida, which is why my favorite basketball team is Miami Heats.

MMA editor since 2009. I train in jiu-jitsu and muay thai whenever I can to stay in shape. I've been an MMA hardcore fan since 2007. My favorite fighter is Bas Rutten by far. His open palm strikes and liver shots are classic. His insanity helps too though.
