Fedor signs multi-fight extension with Strikeforce for Heavyweight Tourney

Looks like we will not see the Last Emperor in the UFC any time soon as it has just been reported that Fedor Emelianenko has re-signed with Strikeforce for a multi-fight deal.

Emelianenko is already scheduled to fight in a Strikeforce heavyweight tournament set to begin on Feb. 12.

The extension is set for at least four more fights, and that official word on his re-signing should come from Strikeforce and M-1 later today.

The first bout on his new deal will be contested against Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, taking place on Feb. 12 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
