GLORY World Series has made good on their promise back in August, scheduling their long-anticipated return to kickboxing action in November in the US.
Per their official website, GLORY 18: Return to Glory will go down November 7 at the Oklahoma Grand Casino in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
GLORY 18 will feature a lightweight world title bout in the main event, along with a middleweight co-feature, and a one night light heavyweight tournament to decide a number one contender.
The main event will be Davit Kiria’s first defense of his GLORY lightweight championship. The karateka, who hails from Georgia (in the former Soviet Union), earned the belt with a stunning comeback TKO victory over Surinam-born, Dutch-based Muay Thai fighter Andie Ristie in Croatia at GLORY 14. His opponent at GLORY 18 is Robin Van Roosmalan, another Dutch kickboxing standout. Roosmalan scored a decision victory over Kiria at GLORY 12.
The winner of the GLORY 18 four man tournament will earn the right to fight for the light heavyweight title at a later date.
Here is the full main card for GLORY 18:
Tournament Final Bout: Semifinal Bout A Winner vs. Semifinal Bout B Winner
Headline Bout: Davit Kiria vs. Robin van Roosmalen (for Kiria’s GLORY lightweight title)
Co-Headline Bout: Wayne Barrett vs. Jason Wilnis
Tournament Semifinal Bout A: Saulo Cavalari vs. Artem Vakhitov

The card, to be televised on SPIKE TV in the US, will mark the first GLORY event since the kickboxing promotion’s GLORY 17 Los Angeles PPV in July.
