For the longest time, Russian heavyweight superstar Fedor Emelianenko was the best in the world. No one can really dispute that. What is up for discussion though is what the hell the commercial below is selling.
Here’s what we can surmise without being able to read Cyrillic letters:
- A boy notices his dad is despondent; said dad is also some sort of ex-fighter;
- Boy passes Fedor on the street and is inspired to stalk him;
- Boy works a series of crap jobs to earn a few rubles to pay for his dad to get his fat ass off the couch and go to the gym;
- Dad gets some personal training sessions with Fedor, thereby rendering all as well.
So is the commercial selling Fedor as a personal trainer? Is it promoting cheap child labor? Your guess is as good as mine.
Either way, it’s pretty uplifting, so watch and draw your own conclusions.
