AXS TV Picks Up “Hip Show: Arena Combat,” A Two-On-Two Fighter Obstacle Course

AXS TV likes to showcase some of the more unique programming available – and that now includes two-on-two Russian arena fighting.

The network announced Thursday that they will air “Hip Show: Arena Combat” on March 14 at 10 p.m. ET. The first show will be a best of feature for the series.

“‘Hip Show: Arena Combat’ is the craziest MMA based event I’ve ever seen,” stated AXS TV Fights CEO Andrew Simon. “Once you watch the preview clip, you will understand why we are so excited to bring this competition to North American television.”

Fighters take part in “The Arena,” which includes five different obstacles that present a realistic, urban-style of combat. Points are awarded through striking, grappling and controlling the obstacles.

There are two tournaments, one for lightweight (about 154 pounds) and another for middleweight (around 176).
