Social media can sometimes be the bane of a promotion’s existence. Whether it’s a fighter with questionable judgment tweeting out the kind of offensive stuff that demands some form of public punishment, to the airing of dirty laundry, this whole Internet thing can be a real pain in the ass.
For the World Series of Fighting, and their treatment of Andrei Arlovski, the latter seems to be the case.
According to the former UFC heavyweight champ who’s now a UFC fighter again, the WSOF never paid one of the hospital bills that arose from his scrap with Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.

Obviously, we’re only getting one side of the story here, and it’s entirely possible that the tangled web of insurance coverage and whatnot could be a factor in this equation. That’s social media for you, though. It ain’t always fair and accurate, but it’s out there.
