Mark Wahlberg and Will Smith duke it out for charityDecember 21, 2010 by Savannah Labate
Well boxing may be on it’s way up again! Actors Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg, both of whom have played boxers on the big-screen, have agreed to throw for one million dollars.
This may not seem like a lot of money for actors who get payed millions for a single movie, but this cash won’t be going into the pockets of Wahlberg and Smith, all the proceedings from the boxing match will be donated to a charity of their choice.
Damon Feldman of the Hollywood Boxing Federation, and who also set the match up, shares his thoughts on the fight;
“This will be a great opportunity for both stars to fight in the Superbowl of Hollywood boxing and to donate millions to their favourite charities,” Feldman stated. “It would be a great event too. Can you imagine?”
The actors will only be required to fight three one-minute rounds as the match is purely fun and aimed at raising money for charity.
“We don’t think these two are going to rip each others heads off,” Feldman said. “We’re just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out.”
If the two actors agree, the event will be taking place on February 26th, 2011 in Las Vegas.

This 1 million dollars would be a big help to their chosen charity, I’m sure every punch they would get would not hurt that much because they know they are doing this for a cause.
