In the future – like, maybe next week – people and organizations will be able to measure their value and self-worth by the quality of the selfie they take. For example, taking a selfie with your Aunt Rita means you’re the social equivalent of an amoeba, while one taken with Jay-Z and President Barack Obama means you’re a baller to the highest degree.
Which brings us to Bellator, the number two MMA promotion in the world, and the show that everyone is going to tune into tonight because Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock and good grief, why? Their selfie, posted below, contains two current champions, the greatest heavyweight to ever live, the first UFC star of the Zuffa era, the first UFC star ever, and the most famous MMA referee of all.
I guess that’s not a bad selfie.
