When Melvin Manhoef fights, either one of two things are definitely going to happen: his opponent is going to be knocked unconscious, or he is. There is no in-between.
Case in point, last night’s Bellator 146, which saw him take on slugger Hisaki Kato in the main event. Yes, they threw the kind of hard leather that would wilt a palm tree. Yes, Manhoef got caught against the cage, shelling up while absorbing punches, and the end seemed near. But Melvin did what Melvin does, and when Kato was stepping forward to carve off a chunk of Dutch hide, Manhoef blasted him with a left hook and the Japanese fighter was suddenly out cold.
Below are the clips. Watch them and feel happy.
