The weigh-in for tomorrow night’s Bellator’s “Dynamite 1″ event is in the books — with both combatants in the light heavyweight title fight, challenger Tito Ortiz and champion Liam McGeary, hitting the mark:

Lightweight standout Josh Thomson, who is making his Bellator debut at tomorrow’s show, received one of the biggest ovations of the day. Thomson was born in raised in San Jose, and also had several of his career highlights there — including his trilogy of bouts with Gilbert Melendez. Coincidentally, Melendez’s wife Keri Anne Taylor is also fighting on the show in a kickboxing bout.
All the rest of the main card, including all four of the fighters to compete in the show’s one night light heavyweight tournament, also made the mark.
Dynamite 1 is co-promoted by Glory kickboxing, and will feature bouts in both a cage and ring. It is named in honor of Japan’s K-1 Dynamite! events which similarly featured both kickboxing and MMA bouts. The show starts at 9 pm ET, and will be shown live on Spike TV in North America.
