Bellator’s first foray into the realm of pay-per-view looms, and with it comes a spotlight on one of the best fighters on the organization’s roster. That’s right, I’m talking about former lightweight champ Michael Chandler, who took a University of Missouri Division 1 All-American wrestling background, added knockout hands and submissions, and ironed out a near-flawless MMA career.
Although coming off a narrow decision loss to Eddie Alvarez, Chandler is widely considered to be one of the most dangerous 155 pounders in his weight class – and with Alvarez’s inevitable departure for greener, octagonal-shaped pastures, it’s hard to imagine anyone in Bellator kicking Chandler’s ass.
And sadly, that includes Chandler’s PPV dance partner, Will Brooks.
