Alexander Shlemenko is pretty damn good at fighting. He was, after all, Bellator’s middleweight champ for a while – a title he earned by being tough as nails, crafty like a fox, and deadly with spinning backfists.
And sure, he was suspended for a while thanks to a failed drug test, but Shlemenko has since returned to the cage, and has been taking out dudes like it’s his job (which, well, it is).
On Friday, the Russian striker will face UFC refugee Gegard Mousasi in the main event of Bellator 185. It’s going to be awesome. Why? Because both guys are good at the same thing: taking opponent’s heads off.
Here’s a little reminder of how Shlemenko gets things done.
