If Bellator ever makes a Hall of Fame, Daniel Straus’ name should at least be etched on a plaque somewhere – not as one of the best to ever step into the Bellator cage, but as one of the elite fighters that made the best the best.
If not for Pat Curran and Patricio Friere, Straus would probably be undefeated in the organization. He’d also be the champ – which he was, twice, before Curran and Friere snatched them away.
At Bellator 184, the American Top Team wrestler will be taking on Emmanuel Sanchez. Sanchez is good. But Straus is Straus, and hopefully we’ll get a chance to see the frenetic and relentless fighter do his thing.
