Bellator 175 Primer: Israeli Fighter Noad Lahat

Israel has had a few regional-level MMA events, but fighting in a cage isn’t that big of a sport there, so Israeli fighters reaching the international stage are pretty rare.

Which makes Noad Lahat interesting. He fights on the Bellator 175 main card on Friday, and he’s actually a UFC vet, who amassed an Octagon record of 2-2 before signing on with Scott Coker’s promotion.

He’s got a black belt in jiu-jitsu, is susceptible to explosive strikers, and is more than capable of going the distance to grind out wins. Here’s a handy preview vid Bellator has put together in his honor:
