Officials have confirmed three fights for the upcoming Bellator 127 card, including the main event.
Set for October 3 from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California, the card will feature a featherweight battle between Daniel Straus and Justin Wilcox.
The main card, which also boasts Karo Parisyan-Marius Zaromskis and Kendall Grove-Christian M’Pumbu, airs on Spike TV.
Straus (22-5) is a former featherweight champion, who lost the title to Pat Curran earlier this year. Wilcox is 14-6 in his career.
“I’m ready to get back to work,” Straus said. “I love to stay active, fight as much as I can, and now I have the opportunity to get back on the road to getting my title shot, and Justin is in the way of that goal. I’ve got to focus on myself and what I’m doing, but you better believe I’ll have my eyes on Curran-Pitbull on September 5 as well.”
Like Straus, M’Pumbu (18-6) is also a former Bellator champion, having held the light heavyweight title. He will be moving down to 185 pounds to square off with Grove, a veteran of the UFC.
Below is the current lineup:
Featherweight: Daniel Straus vs. Justin Wilcox
Welterweight: Karo Parisyan vs. Marius Zaromskis
Middleweight: Kendall Grove vs. Christian M’Pumbu
