Bellator 107 Weigh-Ins: Kongo and Graham Ready for Final

Cheick Kongo

Cheick Kongo is one win away from winning a Bellator tourney and locking up a title shot, and the UFC vet made weight this afternoon for his tournament final tomorrow night. The UFC veteran came in at 237.1 pounds for the heavyweight tourney final, while opponent Peter Graham weighed in at 243.8.

If you recall, Graham is stepping in for the injured Vinicius Queiroz, who took out UFC veteran Lavar Johnson in the tourney semis. Graham worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Eric Prindle at Bellator 104 last month, in what was also a tournament qualifier.

Friday’s card, which will go down at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, will also feature the bantamweight tourney final between Joe Warren and Travis Marx. The “Fight Master” coach tipped the scales at 135.8 and Marx came in at the same.

The middleweight tourney finals will feature Brennan Ward taking on Mikkel Parlo, and the fighters weighed in at 185.5 and 186 respectively.

A main card lightweight fight between Martin Stapleton and Derek Campos has been changed to a 157 catchweight fight, after both men came in overweight for the scrap.
